Makria is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering girls aged 5 – 19 years old in underserved communities. Its uniqueness offers all girls an opportunity to achieve and dream big, to accomplish goals that they could never have imagined reaching for.
Through our programs, girls are empowered to recognize their strengths and become trailblazers and catalysts in their communities. They learn about self-development and self-esteem, as well as speaking to an audience — discovering their inner voice.
